Membership

The Executive Women's Golf Association (EWGA) is a not-for-profit organization formed in 1991 to provide opportunities for career-oriented women to learn, play, and enjoy the game of golf for business and for life. The Chicago Metro Chapter of the EWGA has been in existence for 14 years, and is growing strong! We have over 400 members, offer 20 leagues, a full complement of weekend golf events, and more! Our player development program is second-to-none, with clinics, lessons, and events geared specifically to the new golfer or beginner. We even organize both social and golf activities during the winter months for all levels.

Membership in the national EWGA includes membership in the local chapter of your choice, which in this case is the Chicago Metro Chapter. Membership periods are annual from the date that you join. There are two levels of EWGA memberships with dues as follows:

• Classic Membership: $125 per year to join / $100 renewal
• Executive Membership priced at $325 per year to join or renew

While both membership levels offer fantastic benefits, the Executive Distinction level includes complimenatry general grounds admission to LPGA Tour events and exclusive "EWGA On Course" invitation-only golf events at elite venues and five-star golf resorts. Both membership levels include*:

• Weeknight and/or Weekend League Play for all golf levels
• Events and Outings for all golf levels
• Chapter Championship (individual and team competition)

* Events and leagues all require additional fees to cover greens fees, etc.

An extra benefit to both levels is the EWGA Golf Life Management System. This is a web-based handicap index service which is USGA- and RCGA-compliant with additional features beyond most handicap index services. For more information on this benefit, see EWGA Handicaps.

League play includes participation in one or more of our leagues during the season, including some leagues dedicated to new golfers. For our current league offerings, see Leagues. Intermixed with regular league play are numerous monthly golf events, beginning with the Spring Fling in April and ending with our Fall Finale in October. Special activities include golf education, player development, networking and social events throughout the year, including the winter months.
